A big seller in its day, this computer diskette coaster I designed was made of a simple pane of glass with the corner angled as on a real diskette. A metal template allowed the top to be frosted lightly which also conveniently covered the feet of the coaster. Then the artwork was sand blasted into the underside with a heavier grit sand for higher contrast. Etching from the back allows a 3D relief to be viewed from the top. Spectacular!
The Icon Award
Working for a glass etching company was fun! This product I designed is inspired by the icon of a computer document file and became a popular product for the computer and IT industry.
Ballerina and Princess Wallplates

Jackson Deerfield - Hot Sellers!
The Metro Line and Imperial Bead. Two designs I created for a wallplate company. When combined with the popular finishes of nickel and antique bronze, these wallplates flew off the shelf!
